Job description snippets

Calibrated by role. Pair with technical interviews — this is the production-safety dimension.

AI/ML Engineer

Preferred: AI Deployment Associate (AIDA) certification from the Production AI Institute, or demonstrated equivalent knowledge of production AI safety principles including input governance, output validation, observability, and incident response.

Senior AI Engineer / Tech Lead

AIDA + CPAPRequired
Required: AI Deployment Associate (AIDA) certification. Preferred: Certified Production AI Practitioner (CPAP) or active application. Candidates should be able to demonstrate production AI deployments meeting PSF framework standards.

AI Programme Manager / Head of AI

AIMARequired
Required: AI Management Associate (AIMA) certification from the Production AI Institute. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of AI governance, risk management, vendor assessment, and regulatory compliance (EU AI Act, GDPR).

AI Vendor / Integration Partner

Certified AI IntegratorPreferred
Preferred vendors will hold Certified AI Integrator status from the Production AI Institute, demonstrating that ≥25% of their technical team holds AIDA+ certification and they operate to PSF production safety standards. Integrator status can be verified at productionai.institute/certify/verify.

HR verification — paste as SOP appendix

Works for recruiters and hiring managers verifying any PAI credential ID.

Verification flow (for HR / recruiting teams)

1. Get the cert ID from the candidate
Every PAI certification has a unique cert ID in the format AIDA-2026-XXXX or AIMA-2026-XXXX. Ask candidates to provide this in their application or during the interview process.

2. Verify at productionai.institute/certify/verify
Enter the cert ID to see: holder name, certification level, date of issue, and current validity status. Takes 10 seconds.

3. Check the level matches the role requirement
AIDA = Technical Associate (all production AI engineers). AIMA = Management Associate (team leads, managers). CPAP = Practitioner (portfolio-evidenced). CPAA = Architect (advanced practice).

4. Note the validity period
AIDA and AIMA certifications are valid for 2 years from issue date. The verification page shows current validity. Expired certifications are still shown but marked as expired.

LinkedIn / job-board short summary (adapt title/level)

We're hiring production AI practitioners who align to the Production Safety Framework (PSF). PAI-certified candidates (e.g. AIDA, AIMA, CPAP) encouraged — verify IDs at productionai.institute/certify/verify.

MSP / systems integrator — partner technical bar (adapt thresholds)

Our delivery partners must demonstrate PSF-aligned production practice. Preferred: Certified AI Integrator (CAI) status or documented plan toward it; technical leads carrying AIDA or CPAP credentials; verification supplied via productionai.institute/certify/verify.

RFP / vendor scorecard criterion (paste as bullet)

Production AI governance: bidder shall identify named technical leads holding Production AI Institute (PAI) credentials appropriate to deployment scope or submit an equivalent competency matrix mapped to the published PSF (productionai.institute/standard); credentials verified via productionai.institute/certify/verify.

Email template — ask applicants to submit credentials

As part of this role we're evaluating production AI safety competency against the Production Safety Framework (PSF). If you hold a Production AI Institute certification (e.g. AIDA, AIMA, CPAP), reply with your cert ID so we can verify it at verify.productionai.institute (linked from productionai.institute/certify/verify). If you haven't sat a PAI exam, that's fine — include instead a concise description of how you handle input governance, output validation, observability, incident response, and human oversight on live AI systems.
